What does cleaning entail?
In order to clean a heat pump, we will remove the filters to clean, clean the exterior cover of the unit, and then remove that cover. We will then surround the unit with a plastic bib kit in order to capture the water and cleaning solution that will be sprayed onto the unit. The unit will be cleaned thoroughly with a pressure washer. Once the unit has been cleaned, it will be set on high heat to dry out the coil and fan blade. During this time, the outdoor unit will be cleaned and then the inside unit will be reassembled.
